The C19 Early Warning System provided JLR with access to Covid 19 infection data, refreshing daily using data pipelines into numerous different healthcare data bases and external sources. This was in order to identify hotspots of infections that may be at risk of going into lockdown. JLR data was then overlaid (Purchasing, Manufacturing, Commercial & HR) so as to support decision making & mitigation planning which helped JLR minimise risk to its manufacturing line, its point of sale and, most importantly, its people.
